We look forward to seeing you all our next event due to be held at RSA House on the 9th of September 2021, followed by the Groundsure Rivercruise.
Following our AGM, our All Members Meeting will be focusing on the 14th Programme of Law Reform where we will be joined by Professor Nicholas Hopkins from the Law Commission who will discuss the consultation and present to the members on what the Law Commission are looking for in terms of impact and benefits.
The Conveyancing Association has successfully lobbied to include Vendor Disclosure and Home Moving in the Law Commission’s consultation on the 14th Programme of Law Reform and our panel of industry experts will discuss the Conveyancing Association’s response to the consultation including any unintended consequences and what other areas can legislation improve the home moving process. Members will then be encouraged to provide their feedback and have their say on what should be included in the Consultation Response before the 31st of July deadline. A draft copy of the CA’s response to the Consultation will be provided to all attendees before the event and you can submit your own feedback on the consultation HERE.
