December always brings with it a chance to reflect on the year that has passed and what is to come in 2021. What we do know is that the first quarter of 2021 is likely to be incredibly busy for the conveyancing profession as they seek to ensure property transactions complete before the end of the stamp duty holiday period. That is the immediate priority for many firms however what comes next post-31st March is a little less clear. In a real sense the priorities for the CA haven’t really changed although the pandemic has clearly emphasised where and how those changes need to be implemented. We will continue to focus on improving the home buying process for all in 2021 and beyond.
