Birchall Blackburn is an established, full-service law firm employing a dedicated team of around 250 people, including more than 60 fully qualified lawyers. We are able to offer all the usual best-practice essentials as part of our service, including ‘No completion, no fee’ and competitive fixed prices based around a transparent pricing matrix.
Branch Network Residential Conveyancing
With well-positioned offices in ten locations throughout the North West region, including Manchester, Chester, Preston, Chorley, Leyland, Formby, Southport and Morecambe, we handle significant numbers of sale and purchase transactions for our local clients and introducers. We are proud that many of our clients return to our branch network residential conveyancing team to assist with the sales and purchases of their homes over the years. With the emphasis on personal attention, we consistently apply the same service standards as in our three Volume Residential Conveyancing regional hubs.
Other Property Services
As well as providing regular residential conveyancing services, we have specialist teams dealing with equity release, commercial property, overseas property and investment property. We recognise that clients requiring these services will have specific demands and differing needs, so we make sure our team is focused on delivering a tailored and individual service to each of our clients.

Whilst we are a law firm that provides a high quality and client-focussed conveyancing service, we apply the same ethos to our complementary legal services including Wills & Probate, Trusts & Estate Planning, Elderly Client Services, Family & Matrimonial and Employment.
Included in our legal team are two Insolvency Practitioners, six Trust and Estate Practitioners, nine members of Solicitors for the Elderly, eleven members registered with the Law Society’s Private Client section and a Court of Protection Panel Deputy, one of only 60 in the UK and the only one to be appointed in Lancashire by the Office of the Public Guardian.
We also have Solicitors in our Family & Matrimonial team who are members of the Law Society Children Panel Accreditation Scheme, Resolution and The Association of Lawyers for Children and who are qualified Collaborative lawyers.
