Mike Ward is the Chief Commercial Officer and a founder of Armalytix, a data intelligence fintech company and a leading provider of digital source of funds checks to the conveyancing and broader property sectors. With a career in finance spanning over two decades, Mike managed various equity divisions at major banks, including serving as co-Head of EMEA equities at Nomura and Head of European Equity Sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Although he holds an accountancy degree, he resisted the lure of accounting to work in finance. Mike’s decision to co-found Armalytix in February 2019 was driven by the opportunity to leverage Open Banking technology to streamline financial processes, particularly in combating financial crime, an issue he witnessed firsthand throughout his banking career.
