February was a significant month for the CA for a number of reasons. To start, the Annual Conference & Charity Dinner was held at a new venue, The Belfry, with a hugely positive day filled with plenty of debate and thoughts on what will provide real change for the home buying and selling process. The CA also worked with other stakeholders to ensure a u-turn from UK Finance on plans to charge for Handbook access, outlined its clear opposition to the MoJ’s consultation on Interest on Lawyers’ Client Accounts Scheme, plus signed a MoU with the ODPA – further details below.
