CA members gather in London for 5th AGM
On Thursday 30th April, members of the Conveyancing Association (CA) will gather for the Association’s fifth Annual General Meeting.
The meeting, which will take place in London, will involve the appointment of Directors to the CA Board of Directors.
The event will be sponsored by Future Climate Info – specialists in environmental desktop reports, explicitly designed to help speed up the conveyancing process. Future Climate Info representatives will provide attendees with a short presentation once the meeting has been adjourned.
Since its launch, the CA has developed a significant presence in the sector and has expanded its membership of like-minded firms to 53.
Its members carry out over two thirds (67%) of all UK mortgaging work and 15% of all UK property transactions.
Eddie Goldsmith, Chairman of the Conveyancing Association, said:
“In the five years since its launch the CA has come on leaps and bounds. Our membership now consists of 53 of the very best conveyancing practices in the UK and our work to improve customer services across our sector is really gathering pace.
“2014 was a particularly eventful year in this respect, with the launch of our CA Leasehold Campaign – and we have much to look forward to this year too.
“The CA’s Industry Engagement Campaign is now well underway and we are excited about our ongoing work with fellow industry leaders to improve the home moving process for all those involved – but especially for our clients.
“We are, in particular, looking forward to revealing our latest survey results around issues our industry faces when it comes to lenders and mortgages.”
