The Conveyancing Association (CA), the leading representative body for the conveyancing industry, has today highlighted…
January was a major month for the CA with the Annual Conference & Dinner taking place at the end of the month. For those who didn’t attend, the Conference was the perfect mixture of macro and micro, with sessions covering the major macro-economic, technology, regulatory issues, plus sessions also covering the most pertinent topics for individual conveyancing firms, how they run their day-to-day business, how they market it, how they recruit, how they price, and so much more.
Beth Rudolf’s article this month in Today’s Conveyancer was a strong pre-cursor of this looking at how firms can both prepare for the future, and how they might shift their models to deal with the changes currently taking place, and those that are coming over the horizon.
Finally, on a note of real success, a large number of legal and affiliate member firms have been shortlisted for the British Conveyancing Awards. Congratulations to them all and we highlighted those that do appear on the shortlists in a press release at the end of the month.
