I’m writing this on the longest day of the year – the Summer Solstice –…
March was certainly a mixed bag in terms of the weather conditions we saw hit right across the country with many employees struggling through snow in order to fulfil their client’s needs and secure their exchanges/completions. Without knowing the numbers yet it will be interesting to see just how the weather impacted on transactions but we know that CA member firms have plans and preparations in place to deal with such eventualities.
Elsewhere we announced our range of events for the year ahead with a notable change of venue (and city) for our Annual Conference & Dinner. This year we will be taking in the surroundings of the Etihad Stadium in Manchester for the first time, after a few years at Stamford Bridge. We may be following the Premier League Champions in this but it’s purely coincidental – plus there is no truth in the rumour that our Chairman, Eddie Goldsmith, has already pencilled in Anfield for 2019.
This month we announced two new affiliate members coming on board, reallymoving and Redbrick Solutions – we are delighted to have them on board and looking forward to them contributing to the work of the CA.
