Our News Coverage | May 2016

May marked a significant month for the Conveyancing Association (CA) with a number of initiatives coming to fruition. Chief amongst these was the launch of the Cyber Safe Scheme and this picked up some significant coverage across both the national and trade press. It highlighted the increasing number of fraudulent attempts aimed at those about to exchange on their purchases with fraudsters trying to get clients to redirect money to them.

A further major announcement in May concerned the CA’s response to the Land Registry Privatisation proposals and its opposition to this move. Again, this generated significant interest across the trade press.
