Understandably this month has focused heavily on the Government’s consultations on home buying and selling reforms and the use of material information in the property process. The CA is currently working with all stakeholders to produce its responses but for some initial reaction we would urge you to review the comments made by Beth Rudolf at the start of the month, plus read her articles in Mortgage Solutions and the Law Society Gazette.

Politics dominates the housing market perhaps like never before, however given the long-term solutions required, is it now time to look at a cross-party approach to housing and the home buying/selling process. Read Beth’s article in Today’s Conveyancer to see one potential solution.

Finally, this month the CA announced the date and theme for next year’s Annual Conference, which will be taking place at the Belfry. We have some initial details on the Conference agenda in the press release detailed below, with further information to follow.
