Simply Conveyancing and Orbital Witness join forces, announcing significant AI partnership

Simply Conveyancing, one of the largest providers of conveyancing services in the UK, has today announced a major partnership with proptech innovator, Orbital
Witness.

The collaboration will see Orbital Residential – a product created by Orbital Witness to streamline the leasehold reporting process using AI technology – adopted across Simply’s teams of property lawyers and title checkers. The partnership will in turn support Simply’s lawyers in providing a best in class home buying experience to thousands of their customers up and down the country.

Today’s announcement follows a successful proof of concept phase during which title checkers at the conveyancing giant trialled Orbital Residential to assess the usability, speed and accuracy of the property specific technology. During the trial period, Simply experienced a material reduction in average time spent per title check, which allowed the conveyancing firm to free up substantial capacity for title checking and improve the quality assurance of title checking and reporting.

Benefits of Orbital Residential for conveyancing firms include more effective early identification (and therefore handling) of complex cases, improved decision-making and
greater opportunity for standardised reporting.

Ranked by the Land Registry as amongst the top 1% of conveyancing companies by volume, the AI collaboration will enable Simply to unlock significant efficiencies across their residential conveyancing process.
