The Conveyancing Association (CA), the leading representative body for the conveyancing industry, has today (22nd October 2025) announced the date and theme of its 2026 Annual Conference.

Taking place on Thursday 12th February next year at a new venue, The Belfry Hotel & Resort, with Landmark Information Group once again as the Headline Sponsor, the Conference is entitled, ‘Conveyancing Under The Spotlight’, with reflections and analysis on how conveyancing firms and stakeholders can forge strong relationships and collaborate to achieve better outcomes.

A full list of sessions will be announced shortly, however the Conference will hear directly from consumers, key stakeholders, and property professionals across the home-moving sector, in order to explore opportunities for improvement, both through greater operational efficiency and better communication among all parties involved in the process.

As usual the Annual Conference will be chaired by CA Board Director, Eddie Goldsmith, and the CA can announce that its key-note speaker will be David Smith, Economics Editor of The Sunday Times. Other speakers and panellists already confirmed include: David Opie – Managing Director of Today’s Media Group; Paula Higgins – Chief Executive of the HomeOwners Alliance; and Kate Faulkner – property expert and Chair of the Home Buying and Selling Council.

The Conference open to all CA member firms, legal and affiliate, and attendance can also be secured for non-members for a charge.

Sponsorship opportunities exist in areas including stands at the accompanying exhibition, plus post-Conference Drinks Reception and the Charity Dinner which will take place in the evening and will once again be raising money for a worthy cause. Current sponsors include: Landmark Information Group, InTouch, ntitle, LMS, Orbital, Post Partner, Armalytix, Dye & Durham UK, inCase, Legl, Thirdfort, DUAL Title & Legal Indemnity, PEXA, Legal Eye and Howden.

Nicky Heathcote, Non-Executive Chair of The Conveyancing Association, said:

“Next year our Annual Conference will provide the perfect opportunity to take stock of where we are as a conveyancing sector and to look ahead at how we can continue to raise standards and deliver a better home moving experience for all.

“Our 2026 theme, ‘Conveyancing Under The Spotlight’, reflects our commitment to listening to what consumers, stakeholders, and our own members are saying, and using those insights to drive further improvement.

“I’m delighted that we’ll be joined by such a strong line-up of speakers and sponsors once again, this time at a brand new venue at The Belfry, and look forward to another day of lively debate, practical ideas, and collaboration. More details on the full programme of sessions for the Conference will follow shortly.”
