In January the Association announced its aims and ambitions for the year ahead, launched the second version of its Conveyancing Protocol, and welcomed eight new affiliate members to the organisation.

The Association also contributed its thoughts on a range of industry and market issues including the issue of VAT being charged on searches, free legals, the Legal Ombudsman’s statistics on conveyancing complaints, and the latest British Banking Association (BBA) mortgage statistics.

Eddie Goldsmith, Chairman of the Association was also profiled in Mortgage Strategy.
