Our News Coverage | August 2016

Traditionally the holiday month of the year, August has still brought with it a number of key issues and news to be debated. Plus of course the CA continues to focus on its ongoing workstreams in anticipation of the next Management Committee Meeting taking place in September.

A big focus in the press this month was our recommendations to end leasehold delays and overcharging which generated significant interest, and this will continue to be a campaign the CA will be fighting in the months ahead.

Also, there was a large amount of interest in the Help to Buy ISA and the CA provided its views on whether the Government scheme was a ‘deception’ or, as we believe, working fine in practice.
