With the Budget having been well and truly digested at the end of October, this month has seen a focus on a number of key areas for the Association. However, stamp duty remains a real political football – as seen in the Budget announcement – and our Non-Exec Chair, Nicky Heathcote, looked at this in her regular monthly blog.

November also saw the Association able to unveil the latest version of our Technical Protocol. Further details below.

Key cyber and non-cyber threats remain constant in the conveyancing sector, and firms have to be vigilant and to protect themselves and their clients. Our Director of Delivery looked at what firms can do in her regular article for Today’s Conveyancer. See the link below.

We ended the month with the positive news in the form of a new affiliate member for the CA. Orbital Witness joined the CA in this capacity – details in press release and news stories below – and we are looking forward to them taking a full part in the Association’s meetings and at next year’s Annual Conference & Dinner.
